Composer Time Capsule

LIST OF COMPOSERS

You are about to embark on a journey through time! Your mission is to construct a time capsule based on the composer assigned to you. The following items must be stored in your capsule.

 
   1. A birth certificate showing the time and place of birth
   2. If the composer is deceased, a death certificate showing the
        time and place of death and cause if know.
   3. A wedding certificate if the composer was married. List date(s),
       and name(s) of souse(s).
   4.  A “baby rattle” for each child the composer had.
   5.  A picture or painted portrait of the composer
   6.  A sample of the composer's music this can be a wav or MP3

   7. Some type(picture, wav file or MP3 file) of representation
       the instrument the composer is most noted for playing.
   8. A map of the country from the time period, if possible, the
       composer is most connected with.
   9.  Something interesting or fun relating to the composer.
 10. A written eulogy ( a speech praising a person either living or
      dead).
 11.  A list of references for information, pictures and music.


    *Each group member will do one or two activities from 1-4.
      (divide them up evenly)

    *Decide what you want to use to represent the information that is
      underlined in 1-4. You may use the idea that is underlined or
      come up with one of your own.

    *Each member will choose one or two activities from 5-8.
      (divide them up evenly

    *All group members will work together to do 9,10 and 11.

    *Decide how you want to present your ideas?  Do you want them
      to be made out of paper and put into the actual time capsule
      box, or do you want to create them electronically and present
      them with a power-point presentation.

    *Share your ideas on a word document. I will check these
     documents and "ok" any changes. Drop them in the public
     drop box.

    *Each person will work independently to make the representation
      of the information.

    *Work together to write a eulogy.

    *Decide the order that you want to present the information and
      practice making the presentation.
